What to do!?

I haven't seen my best friend in a year and I want to look better than I did before. I am scared. I have to see her today. Do you have any suggestions on how to do hair and makeup real nice. I have like all the makeup in the world and have curly hair. That is sholderlenght with no bangs.

Go to a salon and have them do your makeup and hair for you!

Or...

Try putting your hair up in a messy bun and let a few curls hang softly against your face. For makeup... keep it simple but use colors that compliment you and your eyes. Then you should curl your lashes, add a touch of mascara and some neutral lipgloss. That way it won't look like you are trying too hard, but you will still look gorgeous!

Leave your hair down. Put serum in it to take out the frizz (if it gets frizzy, mine is wavy and does). Wear light makeup (not a lot of foundation and powder). Just wear a little bit of brown or natural eye shadow, mascara, and some blush. That's the way models and rich people do their makeup! You'll look great.

Just be yourself. Maybe add a little extra gloss or something. Maybe dress up a bit. However, I know that it is nerve racking seeing anyone that you have not seen in some time. However people will be able to tell if you are being something that you are not. Just have confidence in yourself and know that you are what she is coming to see and not your hair and make-up. :)

do you have any girlfriends? get them to experiment with you.

hair: wash roots only. condition all of the hair and let set for the whole shower. rinse before you get out. lightly towel dry. apply a leave in conditioner, curling balm and gel if you have them in that order. scrunch.

face: apply base. appply blush. dust with loose powder all over, including eyelids. cover entire eyelid with a light shade like a very pale pink. from crease down apply a darker shade (i like blue or turquoise). apply an eyeliner to top lid and bottom lid.

dry roots only of hair. lighlty dry hair, but leave damp (so your curls don't get frizzy).

apply shiny lip gloss.

add cool clothes.

girls are very competitive friends or no friends. you want to look better without trying. i would wear 1/4 of my hair up pinned back and go light on the make-up to show her that you dont have to try to be beautiful, you just are! your eye make up would depend on your eye color.

Blue intensifies blue and brown pops it.
Brown & black is sexy but lavender is soft and playful.
Green brings out green and plum dresses it up.
Hazel and brown work good together & pink is fun.

your eyeshadow does not have to match your clothes!! that is a myth. its all about you
