For example: Sikhs allowed to wear turbans as Canadian RCMP; Sikh children allowed to wear their ceremonial daggers to school; Islam's requirement to pray daily when the sun sets, taking time from work to do so which can be a hardship as in the case of production lines being disrupted.

I think a certain amount of leeway is a good thing, but if a relgious practice presents a danger, or is disruptive, or interferes with the performance of a job, then the person needs to decide how important that practice is.

For example, the ceremonial dagger thing presents a real danger in school and simply should not be allowed.

daggers are considerd consealed weapon, you need a permit to use or keep concealed weapons. youcan take them any where with the permit. and most schools and work factories allow you to take time off for religious perpouses
