My answer for this is different from my other superpower answers, because of the time limit. If I only have one day, I would want to have the whole Superman collection of super speed, strength and flight. With only one day to work with, I'd have to try to do as much good as I could, such as catching terrorists, getting rid of nuclear weapons, things like that.
The other choice would be super smarts, to cure cancer and AIDS, find and alternative fuel source, things like that.
The problem is how I would be treated the next day! Now I understand having an alter ego. Maybe I could dye my hair and wear a mask. Cross dressing is OUT of the question!

to predict the future so that I can find out what the lottery numbers are for the next couple of weeks so that I can win. Also I'll be able to tell in advance who or what to avoid if it will leave me in an awkward situation etc...

I would want to be able to teleport myself and others wherever we wanted to go, so that way, I could see my boyfriend instantaneously.
