Charlotte's a great place and a nice place to live. But like the rest of North Carolina (I live in Raleigh, NC but was born and raised in Boston), the state is taking too many leads from the decaying and socialistic northern states.

Taxation has gone from reasonable to burdensome. The state government is corrupt and silly new laws are passed every fifteen minutes that take away more of the freedoms that made me decide to move to NC in the first place.

(Heck, we've even got a Stanley Cup hockey team now...what next?)
