Murray lawn mower cable on right handle when pulled back is not tight any ideas how to fix?

Mower will not start, cable from tank to right of handle is not tight when pulled down in starting position.

There should be an adjustment screw there to tighten the cable.

There shouldn't be a adjustment screw..... it sounds like the cable itself broke, which replacing it would fix it.
