Hahaa.. you have a great sense of humor here. Hmm try to frost out your glass with pattened frost paper? If you are still uncomfortable about it, try a fancy shower curtain? You should be able to install the pole easily. If not you can just hang a clothing line across and sling the curtain across.

When we first moved in, I bought paper shades from Lowes. They were 3 for $8. They're temporary, but some are still up almost a year later (I've replaced the rest). That's a short-term solution while you think about what you really want to cover it with. That's really personal preference. I really like the window film, but it's tough to apply properly and not have it look a mess. There's always shades and curtains, of course. Definitely put up something, stat!

Is the window in the shower?

If so, why don't you hang up a shower curtain in front of it, that way if doesn't matter if it gets wet. Or, go to the hardware store and get a can of frosting so you can make your window even more frosted.

If the window isn't in the shower, then just hang up a curtain or blinds.

Hardware stores sell a roll of translucent plastic sheeting that you can cut to the shape of your window. It clings to the glass without requiring any tape or adhesive, so it can be easily removed or reapplied if necessary. It lets in light from outdoors and reveals very little to the outside.

You can buy sticky colored film that you stick onto the glass. It's like wall paper, only semi-transparent and comes in different colors and has different designs on it.
Or just make a regular window treatment like a curtain or blinds or something. I love curtains on a bathroom window.

put up very dark curtains or blinds but keep them closed all the time. One way to let in light but not to see is a thing called mack-tack. It's like window tinting but for your house. It lets in light but the pattern prevents others from looking in. Check a hardware store or a decorating place.

Curtains would be best, but you could put up a mirror and then cover the entire window with brown wrapping paper. Write on the paper; "Have you seen this Peeping Tom?" and make sure your neighbor can see it.

If you don't want it to look shabby, simply use shelfpaper (fitted into the windowpanes, of course) to cover the glass. Thaht way, you can not only keep prying eyes out but choose a pleasing pattern to look at.

is it a frosted window that's in the shower? we have one of those too and i hate it. not just because you can see through it but because it's really susceptible to mold and gunk. anyway, we took a shower curtain and cut it to the size of the window and use it as a curtain in the window. hope this helps.
