Is there a website I can use there pictures for website design and not get sued for it , im in the UK I own photoshop pro and it offers somthing like stock but not sure if it allowed?

In the US you can use photos for non-profit. If your website is for profit you will have to have permission. Otherwise you should be OK.

This site seems to have a GPL image license (ok for anything if mages can be copied - and webpage images are implicitly copiably). I can't be sure becauseit is in french.

Look for stock photo sites, most pictures will have a label on them that tells you if you can use them or not.
