Most guys used to wear skirts before pants were invented. The main reason is societal pressure. If a man wears a skirt today people would think it was unmanly.

They do, in case you haven't noticed skirts are very much the normal male dress at Scottish weddings, Burns Night, Tibetan monks etc. It's just that trousers have become the dominant male fashion worldwide probably because that was the fashion when western European countries came to dominate the rest of the world. And maybe if another race had dominated the world in the modern era skirts for men would be the norm.

freedom fashion skirts look good in anybody but the problem is that man´s can´t go out, we have to go together and make a unity. like the woman who gether around in the 60´s to have the right to wear pants and now a days you see more woman wearing pants than skirts and they have more choice than man do

There will be a time that guys will wear what girls wear but in a macho way!
See boys have started wearing floral hawain prints and colors green, purple,orange and yellow than the usual grey,blue,black.
They have started wearing studs and bracelet kind jewelry.
so dont worry guys may wear skirts if not very soon.

some guys look good in skirts if they are only performing in drag at a gay bar. other than that, it would be wrong for guys everywhere to adapt to that trend in their casual wear. i just don't think society will ever be ready for that type of change on guys. denim, pants, and shorts will always be the norm. besides it would be kind of hilarious to see a guy's dick hang out while they're sitting somewhere. :)

some guys do like scottish weddings i think you wear skirts i am not sure but I was watching tv on mtv and i was watching NEXT and there was this guy who was dress up like a girl he called him self Fashion Matt or Matt Fashion somen like thatand he was wearing a dress and stuff like that

just how we've developed...it'd be embarassing for a man today to go out in public in a skirt. Also i don't think i'd be a nice view for the gurls...God and we thought our hairy legs were bad...lol
