we all have seen the word "jeans" written on shirts, but why no jeans with the word "shirt" written on it?

Because "jean" is a type of material that can be used on shirts, pants, skirts, etc.

its un-cool. you could get a marker and write "shirt" on your jeans if you really want one though. lol
