I work at a general contracting construction company with only 20 employees since we use mostly subs on projects. Is ISO certification not worth it for a company this size and is the construction industry embracing the ISO certifications?

I am a former ISO auditor. I do not believe that any company is too small to benefit from ISO principles.

ISO mandates that you say what you do , and do what you say.
Is it realistic to assume that your subs will follow the ISO procedures?

ISO certification can be an expensive, time-consuming process.
It can have many positive benefits, and could potentially lead to more contracts.

I am no longer an ISO auditor, but if you have any questions that I might be able to answer for you, you can e-mail me at redheadmba@yahoo.com and I will try to help.
