It goes like this at home:
My husband beats me up, I beat my older kid up, he beats her sister up, she beats the dog up, the dog bites the cat, the cat eats the birds, and then we proceed to smashing the furniture. Then we go out and eat seafood and drink beer like there's no tomorrow.

Simple ..... put it down to experience ..... there's always another day, another match, another chance at victory. Losing is simply part of any teams learning curve and has to be taken on board with the successes. Losing also creates questions, helping assessing what went wrong and allowing a sharper team for the next match. Teams have to lose to improve, so hang on in there and keep supporting your team to victory!

It depends on how it happens, I think. If my team loses due to a bad ref or lots of cheating on the other side, I usually have lots of rage to release (LiveJournal, punching bag, screaming, any method that works).
If we lose a clean game to a better team, well then it's time to dry the tears and support my second-favorite team (if they're still playing).

i'm an Australian, who lived in Holland for all his life, and now i live in Romania for almost a year. I feel like i am a romaustradutch guy.
Romania lost from Holland in the qualifiers, Holland and Australia lost in the last two days.
How on earth can i even cope with all that?? :(
The only kinda small good thing in this, that i think it's just a silly game, i watch it, but, ah well, i'll live.
Edit: my mom lives in Spain. Spain just lost. I can't take it anymore :(((

I live in Mexico, therefore I have a lot of experience in this area...
I recommend
a) drinking vast quantities of beer until the American football season starts....
b) simply giving up on football and indeed all sports forever.
("a" works faster....)

I just ignored if my team lost, like when Mexico did, now I like Brazil but I am still primarily a Mexico fan.

i blame the referee for being paid to set up the game and I accuse the winning team of paying the refs to fix the game.
