Have you noticed that things are changing to spanish first and the little print is english. If I go to wal-mart and want to buy my kids a toy, I push the "try me" button and it speaks spanish first so then I have to find the translation button. What the hell is wrong with this? I live in America not Mexico.

You are exactly right. Also I'm tired of having to press 2 or 4 for English when it is the official language of the United Statesof America! One thing that will help is to write or e-mail your congressman. They figure one letter will represent about 10 opinions, so let 'um have it.

The mexicans could be considered native americans as well as the native americans we are more familiar with. Mexicans, along with navajo tribes, inhabited large areas of california and arizona since way before europeans even set foot in america.
That doesn't mean I agree though....learn some damn english!

Because this country has become weakened by it's desire to be "Politically Correct". To avoid conflict it's easier to try to satisfy everyone, thus the labels. English should be the official language of this country and of course I do support programs that assist immigrants to learn English.

It's called marketing dear. Wally World(and everyone else) already knows you are going to buy something. Now those who don't speak the language are less inclined to do so. So they have to hook them fast or they get away. That's why Spanish first.

If you (and everyone else) were tighter with their money things would be different.

Check the rate Americans vs. Latinos buying at the stores... if the store is selling more products to Latinos, then they are the target on the marketing. Who make your business? if you sell majority of your products to people from France, then your signs will be in French then English.
America also is all the continent from Argentina to Alaska... did you know that?

First of all, stop being so biased. Did you ever stop to think who manufactured the damn toy?! Hello? No **** we're in America, geez some people need to stay in school! You shouldn't be so ignorant, of course it's just my opinion but I'm sure many people think like me just don't want to tell you.

Agree with you. Tell your elected officials to vote for English as the official language. They are all too afraid to, even though it is right.

You're right. It should be speaking either Sioux or Cherokee first. I would write to the manufacturer.
