who could play these 2 in the movie dallas?

it makes me wanna barf that jlo will play sue ellen in the dallas movie. and john travolta doesn't float my boat as j.r. either. i was thinking tommy lee jones as j.r. and heather locklear and sue ellen. what do you think? your choices?

They are going for who has a bigger name in hollywood. As for Tommy Lee Jones being Jr., I think he would be a better Jock. He is older now and has that worn look that Jim Davis had when he was Jock.

Heather Locklear plays stronger characters and Sue Ellen was a weak character until later on in the series. (plus Locklear already did the soap thing)

I don't have any ideas for a good cast for this movie, I don't think they will come within a million miles of the quality we got from the series. It was perfect (except for the dream season) and for once I am completely determined that they should leave it alone....

Tommy Lee Jones is a Good choice, but if I was casting I'd go with....

J.R. - Dennis Quaid
Sue Ellen - Demi Moore
Bobby - Thomas Hayden Church

I think Victoria Principle should play Pamerla and Larry Hagman should play JR. There's no replacing those two as the orginal. Dallas, to me, was a classic.

Travolta can get it done. J-Lo is admitting she's not an ingenue. If they don't cast Eva Longoria as Pamela, they're far beyond my help.
