I don't quite understand the problem but whatever it is, you need to be honest and go to your boss right away. I rather one of employees admit a mistake than to not say anything. That is being dishonest in my book. Maybe your boss can help figure out a solution to the problem so that you don't have to pay anything nor should you anyway. Mistakes happen and everybody deserves a second chance.

what the h?! if you told the contractor no, then you dont need to pay anything! what kind of laws do you have going on up there in canada, argh! go explain the situation to your boss so he/she knows whats going on and then explain the situation to the home-owner...it is not good to leave anyone in the dark when it comes to whose pocket money will come out of. they will be less pissed at you if you explain it now rather than after the bill comes, cause it will look like you tried to cover it up rather than solve the problem professionally

Go talk to the boss now, before the home owner gets the bill. Let him take care of it. That's why he gets paid the big bucks.

Your boss needs to know right away. The longer you wait the worse it will be. Don't pay for anything, unless ask from your boss (doubt he'll ask). Hurry time is of essence. Have faith that you'll make it through this process; and don't forget to breath.

I don't understand your question enough to help you. You weren't detailed enough. Did you go to far in the process to tell your boss that the situation needs to be reversed? Maybe you're better off keeping your mouth shut and if it comes up, just play stupid. like as if you didn't even remember the situation.

Go to your boss and be upfront with the situation, tell him you are willing to pay for your mistake. I am sure he/she will understand. Just do not wait any longer, these things do happen to everyone once in while.

since your a acting agent your liable for anything you do for the company you are with. talk to your boss and be honest about your mistake even if you offer to pay for it. by just paying it and saying nothing, your boss finds out, it could ruin his trust in you.

If you made the mistake, you better fix it. If that means you gotta pay for it, sorry to say but you should pay for it. That way at least your boss won't fire ya! Take care.

You should tell your boss immediately. Perhaps there is a resolution to this that will not involve you paying the money.
