You are never too old to try something new. Well... unless you are like 50 then I would not recommend skateboarding. You know skateboarding is really easy is you just wanna learn the basics. All you need is balance. Good Luck.

One of the benefits of starting skateboarding when you are young is that you are practically fearless. Flying over a 6 foot deep 9 feet wide hole isn't scary when you're a kid, and it in fact seems like a wonderful idea. When you're older you may not have the same experience because you keep in mind that 3 weeks off work due to a broken leg may not be quite what you're wanting right now.

You could definetly learn. It would take a lot of practice to get good and as an adult you might not have time to practice a lot but 24 is a good age to be skateboarding.

i really think you should go for it.... like the others who have anwsered this you are never to young to skateboard... i mean some of the pros are in their 30s

I think you might be a little to old but still give it a shot i mean look at tony hawk or all those other skate boarders they are all old but they still do it!
