I guess you are. I personally think it's a normal function, and actually has a use. Anyway, consider the alternative, would you rather be pregnant?
BTW, a contraceptive which makes your period go away is Depo Provera. Ask your gynecologist about it if you hate periods so much.

For a 21 yr old male i would say at first i was grossed out but u get used to it. I mean the girls ive been with havent flaunted it. But its part of being a mammle. Just like i except being a hemophiliac. I may bleed from any oraphis of my body or cuts but i accept and move on. All it is, is dead blood cells big freakin deal. If u have any pets who are not neutered ull know what i mean.

Nope, you're not alone. It's definetly the grossest thing I've had to deal with. (Exclusing, maybe, a sinkful of moldy dishes oor a month-old kitty-box) But periods go on for a whole darned week, which makes them the worst. Not only are you not fitting into your jeans, cramping, grumpy, and your boyfriend said something stupid, you get to deal with the gross stuff that causes the whole thing....Awesome, huh?

No your not, but these days gals have an advantage that us older women never had. There are pills or shots that a doctor can give that will cause you to have less periods. I was so glad when I reached menopause and never had another period again.

I don't know of any woman who doesn't think having their period is gross. If we had our way we would be done with it. Unfortunately, we won't (until menopause) and then we have to look forward to night sweats and complete hormonal imbalance! So, being a woman definitely has it's drawbacks, but I'm so glad that I am and not a man~! (Not that I don't like guys.....you know what I mean!)

It's not the most pleasant thing, but I don't consider it gross. It's the reason we can carry children and give birth to them...it's a miraculous thing and if I have to deal with a period every month for that opportunity, so be it!

I don't mind it, actually. I mean, I hate getting it but it doesn't bother me at all. It's a part of life and being we have to go through with it, we should come to terms with it as well. It may be gross but sometimes I actually want it to come as a relief of not being pregnant. Lol.

You're not the only one that thinks it's icky, but get over it. Poopin' is pretty gross too, and we all do that! I'd be less discusted by my lover's blood than I would be by her feces. Just wait 'till you start babysitting infants... Now there's some gross times for ya!

I agree - it's pretty nasty. But it's the price we women pay to have children. From what I hear, childbirth is pretty nasty too, but they also say it's one of the most beautiful things a woman will go through...
