Abigail B dispensed goot advice. aloe helps too. if you buy it OTC, make sure it is 100% aloe w/ NO ALCHOL.

when it isn't raw to the touch, continue applying aloe and vitamin K cream to speed healing and prevent scarring.

good luck and be more careful next time? ♥

Never put butter on a burn, it does more harm in the long run. It will hold the heat in and cause it to blister. You did the correct thing by applying ice immediately. Aloe or Vitamin E is the best OTC treatment.

The redness and soreness will go away soon. As long as there isn't some big blister on it, you shouldn't need to do anything else but ice.

Home Remedy!!!!!!
Butter! if you put butter on it, it will stop burning. Also, aloe vera, most people have aloe vera plants outside or any fragrance free lotion that has aloe vera in it will help. I burned my neck really bad with a straightening iron and i put butter on it and it never blistered or burned.

Put aloe vera gel, or better yet, a flat slice of aloe vera leaf. It will be better by tomorrow.

put neosporin on it or hydrocortisone. that's all you can do. it may hurt everytime you touch it with water, so the medicines are your best bet.
