I'm not sure what you mean by a "training program", but you can download the Arena chess interface with the Spike chess engine attached (they are freeware) and you will find that the Spike chess engine is a very strong opponent. Arena will also allow you to interface with other chess engines such as Rybka or Crafty, so you can choose which engine to play against or use for analysis.

macs come with chess installed, but macs are also more expensive than pc's
