no this isn't the NFL, they don't get to watch a replay. Think how much that would slow down the game. People always complain about the refs, but in reality, it isn't like they are trying to sabotage a teams chance of winning, but they don't make every call accurately and that is to be expected, it kinda goes in with all the excitement and disappointment of the game.

no probably not, but that would be a great idea for these idiotic refs who most of the time, don;t know what they're doing

like that penalty shot in the italy vs. australia game, the biggest mistake i've seen so far... but that's prob. cuz italy bought the ref

either way, refs should have some type of camera to review the play like in american football to make sure their decisions are correct

No there was a fracas once when a ref did that everybody was booing him. The ref was the same that gave 16 yellows and 4 reds in Por-Ned match.

they don't even pay attention to the game, so why would they look at the big screens? :)

They cannot reverse their decisions. Unlike american football (NFL), once a ref calls something the decision cannot be reversed.

No, they are not allowed to look at the screen. It might make them feel guilty and would try to compesate the victim team. Sorry Ghana, you are still going home.
