subtracting a negative is the same as adding a positive

multiplying/dividing like signs (+,+ ; -,-) will give a positive product/quotient

multiplying/dividing opposite signs will give a negative answers

-10 - (-47) = -10 + 47 = 37
37 - (-47) = 37 + 47 = 84
-16 - 8 = -16 + (-8) = -24
47 + (-9) = 47 - 9 = 38
-40 + (-35) = -75

-*- = +
-*+ = -
+*+ = +

Basically just multiply the adding or subtraction by the negative number.

Adding: Positive, add as normal
Negative, add as normal, put a - sign in front of result
Positive and negative, subtract first number from second, take sign of largest number

Subtracting: Positive do as normal,
Subtracting a negative turns into adding.. 5 - (-5) = 10

Multiplying: Positive do as normal
Negative = Positive -5 x -5 = 25
Both, result is negative 5 x -5 = -25

Dividing same as multiplying

wen multiplyin a positive n negative number da product is negative.wen multilpyin two negative numbers da products is positive
wen subtractin if da number after da sign is negative it changes to positive eg; 15- -6 changes to 15+6.
wen addin if number after da number after da addition sign is negative it will cancel da positive sign leavin a negative one eg; 14+ -4 changes to 14-4.
wen dividin,if da number dat is dividin is negative da product is negative bt if da number dat is being divided is negative da product is also negative

2+4=6
2+(-4)=2-4=-2
2-4=-2
2-(-4)=2+4=6
2*4=8
2*(-4)=-(2*4)=-8
2/4=0.5
2/(-4)=-(2/4)=-0.5
