So far, we're just dating, but soon, probably this weekend, I'll be meeting his kid. He is divorced and is turning 25 on July 4th. He has full costody and takes great care of his son. I have no experience with children....help?!

Number one...dont try to be his mom....
2. Find out what his interests are and do a little research....ex.if he likes dinosaurs get him a dinosaur book.

3. dont push....let him warm up to you on his own timeframe

A Big toy TRUCK that makes a lot of noise. If you go to Dollar General they have plenty of Truck toys and they are priced reasonably $10-$15.00. Kid will think you are awesome espically if you get down and show him how to play . You will impress your boyfreind and get the little man on your side

I agree with the first answer, don't try to be his mom. You can never be his mom, but you can be his best friend. A toy or movie that he's been wanting should break some ice, but don't shower him with gifts all the time, because he'll expect that all the time. Try to play games with him, pay attention to him. Most of all, be patient and understanding. He'll eventually grow to like you, and you'll eventually grow to love him as one of your own. Best of luck to you........
