Men certainly don't have all the answers. The human species is ignorant of vast swathes of the universe, including parts of our own planet. As to the question of whether women are generally more intelligent than men... That can't be answered unless a definition of general intelligence can be agreed, and, to date, no such consensus exists.

To discover exactly how hard it is to agree even what we mean by the word "knowledge", I recommend Plato's 'Theaetetus', in which Socrates puts some locals through their intellectual paces.

It's probably best to abandon the quest to have "all the answers", and accept life in ignorance. The universe is too huge and complex for beings so limited as humans to understand, so we should learn to be happy with the small flashes of enlightenment of which we are capable.

Nobody has ALL the answers, but women are not more intelligent than men. Anecdotal and empirical evidence backs that up. Women might be more intuitive, or better at certain things. Men and women might even be of equal intelligence in general. But there's no way that women in general are more intelligent than men in general.

I think they are equal, considering both have their weaknesses. It's like the Yin Yang: one sides strength is the others weakness. One other thing: If you look at some other questions in Philosophy, notice two people of different genders asked the same question, "What is the meaning of life", so even both genders are still without an answer, so a modified Yin Yang for men and women will have a gap in the middle, because humans can't know everything.

I don't think any group has 'all the answers'. Even a gathering of brilliant college professors probably wouldn't have too much to say about, say, the cleaning and maintenance of sewers, or how to operate a steamroller safely. But both are key bits of information that add to our quality of life.

Women are superior to men in emotional intelligence, intuitive knowledge, and verbal communication. And that doesn't even scratch the surface of the "typical" female occupations, such as child care.

On the other hand, very few women have the brain wiring for complicated spatial relations and abstract thinking (used in computer science, and mathematics).

It takes everybody!

More intelligent as a group? Probably not.

Do women use their brains to find solutions more than men? Probably. Men are more likely to "do" their response whereas women will think through solutions to get it done (sometimes by others).

As to any specific couple? No rules apply. I've seen stupid and smart from both sexes!

Neither men nor women have all the answers. Since I am a girl of course I am going to say women are more intelligent however I have met some pretty air-headed females!

God is the most intelligent. Men and women are not truly intelligent. I know some men that are more intelligent then some women I know, and I know some women that are more intelligent then me!

If men are still of the opinion that woman are the "WEAKER" sex, think again. Woman operate from the intuitive more than men. They have a tendency to be a little more focused and in sales, they are sharks, from practical experience! They definitely seem to operate at a higher level of consciousness than most men.Remember, a woman allows a man to chase her only until she wants to be caught. Who says woman are not intelligent?

It depends on the intelligence capacity of the parents. Male intelligence is decided 100% by the intelligence capacity of the mother. Female intelligence is determined by both biological parents. So if you have a really smart mom you will be a really smart man!
