What do you think the meaning of life is?

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping others --- things that make us 'feel' good.

I beleive the meaning of life is to experience for God. That is all. In the end Jesus will come back and take all who believe in him to heaven to spend eternity with him, scripture says God will wipe all tears from their eyes, there will be no more crying nor pain, death will be swallowed up in victory. Death is the last enemy Christ will conquer. Grace is a gift from God lest any man should boast. Accept that Christ has covered your sins by his blood on the cross and ye shall be saved.

I used to believe their was no real meaning to life but then I met God for myself one day. Now nothing and no one can shake me from the hand of God and his plan for me. We were created believe it or not, and the one responsible for such a creation continuously extends his hand to you daily to learn from HIM. if you in your heart of hearts will ask God to show you your purpose,he will, his word promises (bible) and he is not a man that he should lie. This world wants less and less to do with God and tries to silence anyone who does, yet wonders why Hell is prevailing against us, only the presents of God can make a difference in ones life. Feel free to disagree. But, if you will atleast ponder that you are searching to ask the question each person has asked, dont take my word for it, find out for yourself. I have full confidence in God and know from experience he is all he says he is and so much more. The love and peace that accompany knowing him outway any experiense man can create. tis simple young one........There is no meaning to life. Anyone can feel free to assign a meaning but there is no uniform meaning. the world spins we die pass on to your offspring what you can it is an unforgiving place we dwell and our time is near as everyday passes
