Final Exam 3:30-5:30. Use of and reference to books or other resources during the final exam is encouraged but you must compose your answer to the following question during the final exam period. Bring a three-level (general, science, and history of economic thought), one-sheet (composed of one to perhaps up to three joined pages), time line of the history of economics up to the present and pointing toward the future that is focused toward your topic to the exam, interact with your time line in developing your final exam answer, and turn the time line in with that answer. Your time line will be most useful, revise able, and storable if you create it in a spread sheet program like Excel in “landscape” format.

The FUTURE history of economic thought?

I'd hope we'll take lessons from the Post-Autistic movement and restore the research paradigm to that of a science rather than an educated guess. I hope we'll turn away from Neoclassical thought and more towards evolutionary and new institutionalism.
