I work in a spa and we use Elemis products. It does not give a " tan " persay but gives you a " glow " that you can build your own tan on. A lot of women have me use it on them when they are going out for a night on the town and want to GLOW in their white or bright colored clothing. You can do it yourself but for the first time i would have someone else do it that knows how and you could learn so you don't streak yourself. It is a reallu good product for people with skin allergies also. Hope this helps !

Try Fake Bake,u need to exfoliate first though.Especially ur elbows, ankles.Anywhere where your joints are. Also you can use an application mit, that you can buy from almost any beauty make-up shops.wearing the mit on your hand whilst applying will stop the streaking.also you can add a little of your favourite moisturiser,to the tanning lotion, for an easier glide.Buy the fake bake in a tube not the spray or mousse though!Goodluck!!!!

Eco-tan from QVC. Also the best one if you have pale skin as it builds up gradually. St Tropez is good but stains on feet, elbows and hands which Eco Tan does not. St Tropez also comes off on your clothes when you sweat - as I discovered when I had one done before my holiday in Turkey- by the time I got off the bus my bra and pants were covered and I now looked as if I was wearing a white bikini!!!

definetley st tropez, I swear by it. any other one I can't do but this one is amazing.
I have been using it for years and not had a bad experience with it.
It's quite pricey at £30 a bottle but really worth the money, put it on at night then in the morning have a shower and get the execss off and your left with a gorgeous looking tan xxx

Ive got quite pale skin so i use johnsons holday skin medium to dark colour and it works quite well and doesnt go patchy or streaky that often. it works quickly and when it goes wrong its easy to remove patches and streaks using an exfoliater or pumice stone. if you've got dark skin it may take longer to work tho so apply it daily for 2-3 days. Hope this helpz :-)

The only one I can use is Liz Earl as I am allergic to something in all the others. It is a spray and is nice and light and doesn't have a yukky smell-like the others do. I find they all come off when I sweat.
