I'm always amazed at how many versions of the chicken and egg question come up on Y! Answers.

p.s. the answer is the dinosaur came first.

Perhaps God started the whole thing going -- but the hen evolved from something else.

Regarding the whole "which came first, the chicken or the egg" thing, I have to go with the egg. There have been a finite number of creatures on this earth that can be called a chicken. Therefore, there is a first chicken. That chicken had parents that were not chickens -- but were very chickenlike. It likely had some sort of gene mutation that made it a chicken. That chicken hatched from an egg -- therefore the egg came first.

hen, the bible delibratley says god created animals..not eggs..and without the hen who could incubate the egg?
