John had a Rickenbacher, George had a Gretsh(spelling?) and Paul had a Hofner Bass. And sweet Ringo played Ludwig drums.

They used (at least) a Rickenbacker 12-string. A book recently released refers also to "Paul McCartney's violin-shaped Hofner bass" and "a 'baritone guitar' such as the Fender Bass VI".

depends on what time that they were around. in 1963, Paul was playing a 1963 model Hofner Violin style bass which he still uses today. John and George both used Reckonbackers.
