i know this is off topic but... timeouts? that doesnt work that why i beleave kids are the way they are today... what does a time out do... corpral punshment works we sould use it

Because society spends so much money and effort protecting people from the consequences of their idiocies. If people had to suffer the full brunt of the results of their idiocies, it might diminish that specific non-survival trait.

people are lacking responsibility, and most of all respect. I cant say how many times I have seen younger kids disrespect their elders. I feel it is because of the lack of disipline that parents have twords their kids. If they do something wrong, let them know!!! Time outs do not work, I was in the grocery store and some mom told her son to go into time out in the corner (weird in a store, but whatever) and the whole time he chanted "moms a *****" while he was there, WHAT kind of disipline is THAT? seriously!!!

The idiotic masses are called that because they take everything for granted, demand instant gratification, and must make all who they feel inferior to look even lower than they actually are. They are shallow, materialistic, self-indulgent, and oversexed.
It makes me sad to think I just described America's Civilian grouping. Perhaps they should start character education and the young and impressionable age of when the kids start school.

I think in today's culture of instant gratification, people act before they think. If they were thinking about the consequences, they might not make such bad choices. On the other hand, they might anyway.

TV and movies, the news broadcasts, commercials etc.
Rappers, Car Chases and races, Hollywood Idiots are Idols,
Fools win!, Loosers are winners, Drug addicts are heroes,
