Yes, I feel the same way. I discovered this site yesterday and submitted my question. I have gotten some great responses.

In all honesty I would say that at least
60% of the questions could be answered by simple search on the net or even a dictionary.

10% more are just for a DUCE in the bag.
(2 points and really no question)

20% is kids who want to know more than they should for their age

and the last 10% are the serious questions that you can't really get from any where else and really need some input.

I use Y! answers quite often for information. I just do a search for a topic and get answers right away. It's much easier than doing an internet search sometimes. Internet searches are so cluttered with advertisements that it's hard to get answers. I've looked up everything from movie titles to how to get a business going. It's great!

i started about a week ago and love it! there are a lot of people with good advise and you need to check out the joke section! i have learned alot on this website!
