i just wish people would like me for who i am?

you have to first love yourself before people will like you, so stop saying you're ugly! And keep believing in yourself and you will meet some people who like you for you. It gets easier as you get older because (some) people grow up and are less shallow.

i have never had any close friends my entire life, either. I'm 25, though. I've always been closest to my family and cousins because those are the ones in the end who matter and who will love you unconditionally.

I've been burned by friends and lovers alike, and I think once you start respecting yourself and loving yourself, then you'll find that respect and love you are looking for from other people. You've gotta have a confident, "who cares what you think... i like me just the way i am" attitude and people will start flocking to you.

Being ugly on the inside is different than being ugly on the outside, if you act ugly then people won't like you, if you love and respect yourself it won't matter what your outside appearance is but it will show on the outside, people are drawn to that kind of a person. Look at people you admire, what do you admire about them? Use that on yourself.

Everybody has ugly days..even the top film stars...Its interesting but some of the world's most beautiful people actually are not that 'pretty' ....yet they project a inner beauty and a huge attractiveness.
Forget how you feel about yourself and start thinking happy thoughts and getting your face and eyes smiling..and you will be beautiful.
People respond to a smile...even if its to wonder what you are smiling about..

Maybe you aren't putting yourself out there. I don't think people really care what you look like after they find out what kind of person you are. I'm sure you aren't ugly. Start talking to people and let them get to know you, I'm sure you will find some friends.

Just do what you find to be fun and forget about all those negative people eventually you will find someone just right for you. thats awful, im sure you have friends. and im sure you are not ugly at all. infact, beauty comes from the inside, no matter how corny that is. And im sure people WILL AND DO like you for who you are, but the real issue is.....................do you like you for who you are? i dont think you do because when YOU like yourself, other people will like you. It took me a long, long time to really
genuinly "like" myself. and I do and its absolutely fabulous.

besides, if you keep going on and on, being depressed and bummed out, no one will gravitate towards you anyhow, take
a deep breath, stop the negetivity, and get out there and be awsome, and if noone likes you? **** them, its their loss.
