Depends on what you loaned the $20 for. Like in my case, I loaned a friend at school $20 so he could take the train home to MA for Thanksgiving. Somehow funds in his bank account got messed up and he ended up short that money. Even though I do not see him anymore, I think my case was worth it because he got to go home to family for Thanksgiving.

Oh, there are loads of people I'd happily pay more than 20 dollars to if that meant I never had to see them again.
20 dollars is a bargain!

Yes.
I learned my lesson as far as lending money to people if they ask to borrow money I will only lend it them what I can afford and I make sure I don't put myself in a situation that I have to depend on them to pay me back and I also don't expect them to pay me back ( I don't let them know that though) so I won't be disappointed if they don't and just be surprise if they do.

It was worth it because it was a twenty dollar lesson on who you can and can not lend money to in the future.

I can think of about $300 worth of people that I would pay to never see again, so yes it would be worth it to me.

Yes, if that would actually happen there are quite a few people that are due a $20.

If that was the goal....Yes. I would give a lot of people 20 dollars just to go away.

Well, you're short $20 --whether it's worth it or not it's your call. What a silly question!

Yup !! You got off cheap, now they'll never ask you for money again, and they evidently were not a friend to begin with.

whenever you let someone "borrow" money you should always think of it as, "Can I afford to just give them the money?" Then when you get it back, if you do, it's a treat. Cause you really wasn't expecting it back
