In the US at least, most states require a special motorcycle endorsement in addition to your normal driver's license. This is because bikes have some 'special' characteristics, including the capacity to put the novice rider in a wheelchair for life, without trying too hard. Go to your local DMV or other licensing office and ask what the requirements are to get your bike endorsement....

finished uk license is sufficient, notwithstanding some renters set minumum criteria like age above 25 or a minimum of three 3 hundred and sixty 5 days using journey. some organizations lease small automobiles from age of 21 or maybe 18, yet ask for an additonal fee depending on the better possibility.

You'll need a motorcycle endorsement on your license. Check with the local DMV office in your area for the procedures. Most states require you to pass a written exam, get a learner's permit, and then pass a road test.

Yes you do. In most states your license will be annotated with a M for Motorcycle. You'll take a written test for your learners permit and a drivers/riders test for your license.

You need to get a motorcycle permit then after you have held it for so long (I don't know how long) you have to take a motorcycle test and then you can get a motorcycle license.
