In my opinion, she can't sing worth sh-t. And she's not even pretty to me. Neither can Christina Millian--the only thing holding her career is the fact that she's pretty. If she was ugly, her career would have been over LONG ago.

I agree! Britney and Janet are exceptions because they actually put on great performances. They epitomize the word ENTERTAINER. It's different if you're not the greatest singer, but you can perform. But these talentless chicas like Rihanna, Cassie (Her video is horrible, the lyrics are even worse. She is just lucky the beat on the track is hott), Christina Milian, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton. etc... They can't sing or dance and put on lackluster performances... What it is the world coming to?!?!

The music business is all just a big popularity contest today. Why do you think they have shows like American Idol? Record companies are looking for fresh meat, anything they can classify as "talent", whether it be looks or voice. Brittany Spears can't sing very well at all (they doctor her albums) and she can't sing and dance at the same time. She got on tv because she's a dancer.

Nah. My band is really going to be figuring stuff like that out quickly (moreso, with somewhat of luck we are going to do a run of them and per chance by skill of that discover someone who might want to pick to positioned it out previous that), yet all you particularly favor to do is list, blend and carry close it, then layout the packaging and discover an section to fabricate the cds and packaging. you should be in a position to discover some places that attempt this by skill of an uncomplicated internet seek for, or per chance do a question right here (i'm effective there are self made musicians on right here who've been by skill of the technique). For a small run it would want to nicely be somewhat expensive in a in line with cd type of a fashion, even if it may actually be done. After that, the difficulty is that you'll hit more advantageous closed doorways with out having a label once you attempt to promote the element, yet you could contact radio stations, mail them cds and talk with list shops (particularly the community ones) and spot what the logistics are of promoting albums of their institution, all of that sturdy stuff your self. The iTunes save will also settle for self sufficient releases. i don't comprehend the technique, yet i comprehend of a pair small bands that are self made who promote on the iTunes save. that is totally do in a position although. i have time-honored those who've done it.

Everyone's ear is different, each person is going to say something different about the performers you mentioned. The music business is all about sales, and pleasure honestly. Most of these women who cannot sing or who are not talented whatsoever, have slept with whomever they needed to, to get where they are today. You may not believe that but it's true. Once each side has gotten what they've wanted, they move on their merry way.

Dont' hate, it's a business, so if she/he looks good and can sell records regardless to how you think they may sound, the record company will sign them, Now ther or some legitmate record lables who require pure talent, but you must convey a certain look as well. however ugly does not make money and no one is interested in ugly.

Just look at American Idol, on every show but one, the people have chosen someone good looking over someone who had any kind of real singing talent. It's because people like looks rather than quality.

Because it's all about image, not about talent. They can make anyone sound great, they want a certain look and that's all they sign and deal with.
