I have started using PaintMate, the paint roller that you can fill up so that you don't spend your time dipping the roller in the paint but I am not sure I like it... Has anyone out there tried it? Do you like it?

I prefer the spongey rollers. I prefer to control the amount of paint myself, so an automatic roller wouldn't interest me much.

Most gadgets like this are a pain in the butt, Use a 5 Gallon bucket half full with a Screen to control excess paint - just dip the Roller, and run it over the screen to get the right amount- Use a Handle on the Roller, it won't take any more time than screwing around with that thing and all the clean up, clog up and other bs

In my opinion, the regular roller is the way to go. less clean up and set up.

I think that I prefer the rolling brush because in my opinion its easier. Different people think different things, and that's great if you like it. I have tried the paintmate and I didn't really like it.
