A very small pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers might work. Open the case and see if you can push the broken pin back out with a toothpick. If all else fails, try a very small dollop of superglue on the end of a toothpick, carefully bond to the broken pin WITHOUT touching the jack. Hold very still for about 3 minutes and you should be able to ease the broken pin out.

Or, if none of those other tips work....try this. Get a toothpick (cut it in half so you have a bigger surface area than that sharp tip) apply a small drop off super glue in the end. Insert it into the input (being very careful not to touch the sides) until it comes in contact with the broken mini pin. Hold it there for several seconds for it to adhere. Then, just pull it out! EASY!

Or hell, just go out and get yourself a new sound card! Even EASIER! LOL

***Edit - Dang...my idea was already presented by interested dude, i guess thats what I get for not reading the responses first. LOL

Can you get it with a pair of needle-nosed pliers?

If not, you can open up your computer case and look for the other side of the plug. It may be accessible enough that you could push the plug out from the other side.

Carefully take the side or back off (the housing) while it is unplugged, and push it through the back way with a smaller screwdriver.
