I currectly clean a lady's house for a flat rate of $40. It usually takes me 4 hours to clean. I don't think I'm getting paid near enough.
What is the going rate per hour, and how is the best way to let someone know you're changing your rates?

It depends. Running maid service for Naomi Campbell, for instance, gets you 30 bucks, verbal abuse, and a couple of ***** slaps for good measure.

I pay $50 for about 6 hours work.
She eats whatever she wants and we do special favors for her.
Our house is fairly large but there are only 4 in our family.

Help charges more here in Texas but rarely less than what you make.
