If so, please check out a link to a party that I have investigated and feel is much more in line with what I believe...you just might find the party you'll vote for in the next election.
And I will say it is definately more conservative than liberal, but since you liberals claim to have such open minds, I urge you to check it out anyway.

No wonder our country is going down the tubes and will continue to do so...cynical people like most of the ones who've answered so far won't do anything to change anything. They just think "to hell with it."
Enjoy your ride down to the bottom with the rest of us.

And although this party is more conservative than liberal, there are some important issues where the Constitution Party would support the current liberal point of view (i.e. the War on Terrorism).

Yes. Both the Republican and Democratic Parties are in big trouble. It all boils down to a lack of public confidence.
The way to change it is to throw the baby boomers out of Congress and get some young, intelligent fresh blood in there.
A third party ain't gonna happen. Young people knocking the geezers out of there is gonna make a big difference.

I checked it out. It is very, very, very conservative in my view. For one, I find mixing religion and education a very bad idea. Folks who want religion in school would change their mind if it happened. What they really want is: THEIR RELIGION in school. Then the guy shows up with the chicken and a knife. Think about it Christians, do you want your kids exposed to the teachings of Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism?
Before all this separation of church and state crap, I had a Jewish 6 grade teacher in NYC schools. We studied all the Jewish holidays and learned Jewish folk dances. Christians, is this what you want? Separation of church and state protects everyone.

until we take out big business contributions from the election process both parties will have to pander to them, so no it does not matter you just have to pick the lesser of the two evils for now. Big business give more to Rep then Dems so who do you think you should vote for?

I think this country is going down the tubes. Before long, they'll take our guns away. Then they'll take away the freedom of speech. And finally, they'll stop letting us all vote and we'll become the fourth reich. I'm a republican, and have to say that our government is ******* us.
"Love my country, hate my government."

I'll check it out and thank you for the link.
(And I'm more liberal than conservative, but you're right--I have a closed mind where conservativism is concerned.)

Many people think that both the Democratic and Republican Parties have gone down the tubes.
I for one think it's only the Democrats.

I do, but I certainly do not think ANOTHER political party is going to make it any better. I think abolishing political parties is the better idea.
