GMAIL IS best coz its gives maximum space these days.
Well If you want to use Yahoo or Hotmail with POP3 then you can use them as well
In Gmail Its free then they provide POP3 info easily and steps to
Where as for Yahoo u need to use YPOPs tool which works as engine on ur pc and send and retrive mails throught ur yahoo account. You can sonfigure any mail client with YPOPs

Outlook sucks (it's a Microsoft product, go figure). Like a couple people have already mentioned, I recommend Gmail. It's pretty much amazing.

yes u can go with gmail . they are the only mail service offer pop3 access free. To get in u need an invitation.. If u want feel free to contact me

Yahoo and hotmail are not free if you want to download your mail into a pop3 client. I think you can with Google gmail, though I've had some problems with it.

Most services that have a pop3 server. e.g. gmail, wanadoo, maybe yahoo -- I never checked
