Hmmmm I think thats a close one but if I had to say one or the other than Bush is worse than Nixon

No. Nixon engaged in obstruction of justice, conspiracy to obstruct justice, fraud, campaign finance corruption, he picked Spiro Agnew as his running mate and Spiro Agnew had been busted for corruption as the mayor of Baltimore.

Nixon was certainly a criminal.

I don't care how you feel about President Bush, but President Bush is not a criminal on the large scale that President Nixon was. The whole issue of wiretapping certainly raises my hackles, but unless I see something more substantial than the New York Times article, I wouldn't bet that the Senate investigates anything.

By far. Nixon had serious character flaws but he was very intelligent. He understood foreign policy, budget management and he never would have gotten into the war with Iraq which was based on lies about WMD. Nixon's problems were insecurity and jealousy. Bush's problem is a lack of intelligence. He is manipulated by others.

Of course; before he became president, Nixon had national political experience (vice president). All Bush has is a silver spoon in his mouth.

Nixon had the good grace to have something of a sense of shame. He knew what he had done was wrong. Bush has no shame, he is born again and believes only in himself and his meglomania.
