Reconcile your your self to the fact that this is his job, by all means keep telling him you miss him, but don't try and stop him doing his job, or make him feel guilty over not being home all the time.
I worked overseas for 15 years starting in Saudi, 4 months on and 2 weeks home leave, After a year of that I started getting better leave cycles in different parts of the world, my wife and children some times came with me.
I went where ever the work (and money) was!
I always managed to keep in contact with home and at times felt guilty, but my wife and kids knew the score and supported me in my work.
So all I can suggest is do not make him feel guilty , if he ever has to make a choice between you and work , and he chooses you it will always be on his mind.
Support him he probably doesn't want to be away, its no real fun being away from home even if it sounds great!
But whatever, good luck to the pair of you!

Get on with your life and concentrate on the realtionships that are in your life and forget about the ones that arnt! unless your serious of course! and maybe your living in a Walt Disney fairy story fantasy of what could be, might be or maybe and thats not reality. So either live in fantasy or fact and deal with reality before it deals with you.

Keep in touch with him as much as possible. There's no reason to stop thinking about him. Just look forward to the times when you can be together.

Is he working or in the military? Cause if he's working, tell him you want to get a job like his and go for it.
If he's really against the idea, I don't think he's thinking of you that often.
If he's cool with it, go for it.

Share your thoughts and feeling in a journal and share this with him when you can see him...he will greatly appreciate the time and effort you have put into this relationship even when he isn't here with you...blessings.

if you feel that you should find a way to have communication to him...try to ask his relative or friends if they know his address over there so that u can send him a letter or ask for his number to call him just to let him know how much you miss him...
