The Price of AN Auto Rickshaw in India now is ,,(NEW) near to one lakh RS . That is 2000+ USD. There are few brands in Which Bajaj Back engine Petrol ,is most popular in My State Kerala.
A Bigger Models are . Ape , Greaves Garuda Which is also available in Diesel Models Will be near to 3500 usd. ( These are approximate rates )

you don't have to waste your time in a show room. the deal will be done with in hours. But the registration may take a week or so. but you can drive out the vehicle then and there. TO export you need a No objection Certificate From the transport Officer.Otherwise Buying is hassle free. IF you like Indian Chai please drink as much as you want.

1. There are these motorised called 'Auto Rikshaws' (or Autos or TSRs) : In Delhi, you get auto rikshaws that run on CNG too (Compressed Natural Gas). In Hyderabad you find bigger ones which have more carrying capacity.

2 There are those pedalled ones called 'Rikshaws' (or Cycle Rikshaws), which have seat for two and are pulled on human strength (non motored).

More than just chai or talk, you would have to haggle with the vendor, if you find one.
