As someone who is getting that way, let me reassure you younguns that it ain't so bad! When you are older you have different interests and ambitions, such as travelling, hobbies, seeing your grown up children prosper, playing with your grandchildren and so on - you become less obsessed with physical beauty (thank goodness). And best of all - as you get older your eyesight starts to go, so you can't see the wrinkles! Ain't Mother Nature clever!

Don't mind at all. That's part of the aging process, just like gray hair, and dammit I've earned it!
What I do feel more strongly about is all these people with tattoos all over them, getting all wrinkly, then lined up in wheelchairs in a nursing home. I picture them stretching their baggy skin out to show their tattoos. Gross. With the gruel the poor nurse is trying to feed them squirting out through their tongue piercings, too. Eek. It will be a very ugly scene at nursing homes.

Old and wrinkly is not too bad as long as you're healthy.
My biggest concern is bein disabled or having hair loss, which I am having and have been for one year. It's not fun.

Firstly a bit depressed , then realty kicked in and to realise that with good friends and family one is indeed fortunate and able to offer kindness and understanding to the less fortunate , after all no one can avoid the inevitable so learn to live with it -- be happy - it halves the problem

It's the way of life - you've got to come to terms with.
For now - I believe one should maintain a healty lifestyle and enjoy life to the fullest - making the best while we can.
Don't bother about old age - handle that when the day comes.

Once upon a time someone told me the art of getting older is not to keep looking young but to keep looking the best you can at that age...naturally....and i still cannot accept this in my heart of hearts but i keep to it as there is no choice is there.

I'm growing old gracefully...you can't fight Mother Nature. Fortunately, I've got good genes and look younger than my age.
