I have a Dell Latitude D620 with a projector hooked up to it. I hit Function F8 and all applications zoom huge

Any ideas why power point, word, excel, pictures, and acrobat reader, would zoom in about 500% of it's normal size.

fn-f8 has 3 modes, internal LCD< external VGA, and BOTH.
Usually, the interna LCD will not be capable of all the resolutions the external is, or they operate on different refresh rates...long story short, often the projector doesn't want to be on along with the LCD. Just hit fn-f8 till the projector goes back to normal.
This CAN sometimes be attributed to the driver though, and you SHOULD call 310-DELL and tell them what's happening to see if they can resolve it.
