There is no real "cheapest" way to buy anything on the web other than just searching for the best deal. Overstock and Amazon usually have pretty good deals but using key search words like cheap when entering the product you want to buy can yield some good hits. If you are in the SF bay area, craigs list is a great place to find stuff and slickdeals.net is also a great place to find stuff...

I like www.craigslist.com. It's good for a lot more regions than just the SF bay area. I live in Dallas, TX, and it's huge down here too.

Also, Google's "Froogle" is great too. www.froogle.com

Determine the category of what you are looking for and then Google search it. You will find many suppliers who are in business with just what you want...cheap!
