In most cases, there are differences, and it all starts with the yarn. I know this because I work at an international company, and we make fancy yarn which is more expensive than most of our competition's yarn. We have clients who make denim fabric, and with that fabirc their clients make designer jeans. There's cheap yarn for cheap fabric, and expensive yarn (like ours) for expensive fabric, thus expensive jeans.
You can see and feel the quality. The cheap wal mart jeans feel rougher than CK jeans, for example.
Ah but a little note, between designers, it's the same quality. For example, one of our clients uses the same fabric for CK and TH jeans, unless they're making something special.
I hope this helps.

the difference between a regular jean and an expensive or designer jean, other than the cost, is probably the quality of the material they are using and the different styles. it seems to me that the cheaper jeans are made of a more stretchy fabric and don't last as long as the designer jeans.
i still buy regular jeans because im always broke, but if i had the chance with a lot of money, i would probably buy expensive ones because they are made of a higher quality and last longer. But that's just my opinion.
HOPE I HELPED!!!!!

Most people can tell the difference between designer and the jeans that come from Target or Walmart. If you care what people think of you, you'll buy the designer. If you don't want to pay $200 on a pair of pants, you'll buy the regular kind. Designer jeans simply look more stylish and up to date than regular jeans. They don't wear out slower, they're just more fashionable.

I don't know. When I turned 22, and got a real job, I began buying designer brand jeans just because I always wanted to. For one thing, unless you buy a really flashy pair of designer jeans, no one is even going to notice they are designer jeans. Two, they tore apartin like 10 washes. I'm not buying designer jeans ever.

It only matters to the buyer. Are you buying them for the name of the fit? I have jeans that fit me perfect and they are not designer. I have designer jeans too but only because they were given to me. I would rather buy pretty costume jewelry, purses, and shoes with what I save by not buying designer jeans. You only make the designer richer. Be yourself, buy what you feel comfortable in and don't try to keep up with the Joneses. People will respect you more for being who you are rather than what or who you are trying to be.

Some high priced jeans have a better cutting and styling. The fabric uses give a good feel on your body. However, irregardless of pricing, how it compliments your body type is most important. It's the PERFECT fitting that counts.

The difference really, is the label. I've found jeans at the thrift stores that fit more comfortable than buckoo buck "designer" jeans.

Probably depends alot on how comfortable you are in your own skin before you put them on--paying for a label for jeans, unless you're really rich, is pretty ridiculous.
