babysitting,. paper route, selling things in a yard sale, walking dogs, doing odd jobs for people, etc.

When I was about 14 I put an ad in the paper, Odd jobs - anything you want, $10.00 per hour. I made a few hundred bucks over summer.

Your best bet is to ask your parents if they'll pay you to do things around the house, like cleaning, making dinner, looking after your siblings, cleaning out the garage, etc. You should come up with some creative ideas. You can also try offering to do chores for other neighbors. Other than that, there's not much you can do to make money besides holding a bake sale in your front yard and selling cookies and brownies you've made. You could sell bags of popcorn (cheap to pop) and lemonade, too.

I saw a lot of people have mentioned babysitting, but to be honest I don't think most parents would leave their kids home alone with a 12 year old. 16 maybe, but probably not a 12 year old. Sorry.

Hey, I am 12 and I'm scootering to a friends house that is three miles away everyday except for the weekends. I tutor a 10 y.o. kid math and science for $7 an hour. Get approval from BOTH parents and make sure to work things out. Just be safe when you leave the house. Oh, I can tutor math and science because I'm in math a grade level above my own and that I was always really good at science too.

You could try babysitting but I would suggest taking a class first. Or if your neighbor hood is having a yard sale any time soon you could sell crafts. You could walk peoples dogs or be a pet sitter. Old but you could try a lemonade stand or some other beverage. You could also try a bake sale and then make fliers and post them around your town. Well they're a few ideas to get you going. Hope I helped

OK... i have heard a lot of answer and they are all pretty much the same. But one person said that people would hire a 12 year old to babysit. She is crazy...12 is the perfect age..you are pretty responsible and you have nothing better to do. She said that they might hire a 16 year old. what kind of 16 year old wants to babysit...they all have better things to do.

THINGS TO DO:

babysit
yard-work
chores
in 2 years you can work at the movies

When I was 12 I used to make money by picking up apples that had fallen under people's apple trees, cleaning pools and babysitting.

have you checked into any paper routes in your area.. i think it will be work but fun at the same time.. i know some that does this,, also maybe see if some of your neighbors may have something you can do to earn money.. take out trash weekly or walk their dog.. i know a lady that does this too..put up a flier around your neighborhood and see if you can get any response from it.. and put one up in the nearest grocery store that is around you too..
