What an ignorant question. I'm guessing you are a business major or something like that. Learning can never harm you, it can only help. If you don't want to take the class get your lazy butt out of school. Students like you really piss me off.

Ethics are extremely important in business, yes they are quite boring to study, but will keep your business legal, and socially responsible.

Ethics=rules of behavior.
Business ethics=rules of behavior in business.
Without rules, we'd do things in our favor that might hurt other people, for example: not pay an employee, sell a faulty product, shortchange people, fire people without reason, deny people unemployment insurance, lie, cheat, steal to make money, make unwarranted deductions from salaries, and so on. You get the picture.
