Because people want to play sports that pay them a lot of money. If soccer was as popular as it is in other countries then more American athletes would devote their lives to being a great soccer player. I guess the only good American soccer players are women.

Maybe George Bush should play soccer. He's got to be good at something. Sure isn't being president. Maybe he could be in the military. Oh yeah, cut and runner. We'll if he runs on the soccer field as fast as he ran from military service he's probably pretty good.

The same reason that American footballers have their brains in their a.ss and American Baseball players in their bats and not where they should be, well the far.ts just gas the brains grays and the whites off into the thin air., while the baseball players lose them with every homerun they miss!
