calloused hands mean he is a hard worker and not afraid to get dirty. I love being outside, mowing grass, gardening and getting my hands dirty as well so this is a good trait

A bit calloused shows signs of a hard worker, character. Too soft is afraid to be a litle dirty shall we say.

I like a man that works hard, so that would cause calloused hands, but i do like them to be kept clean.

I like men to have hands with neatly kept nails; they can be calloused as long as his nails are neatly trimmed and clean with no polish. I don't like it when men have really soft hands; that just seems too feminine.
