Honestly, unless you love iPods more than life itself, no, its not worth it. You'd be better off spending 40 bucks and getting a run of the muck MP3 player. iPods are like the Escalades of MP3 players. Their pieces of crap, but you pay for a name.

I got an iPod Mini for Christmas 2 years ago...it still works perfectly, excepti think you have to download the music onto it from one computer, and use that one every time, it might be different now since they discountinued the mini's. But a lot of my friends got the newer iPods like the video's and stuff, and they work wonderfully, i say that it's deff. worth getting!

I can recommend getting one, I love my Ipod. The only thing that annoys me about it is you can't drag music from it on to computer. It only works one way, but apart from that I've had no problems.

yeah get a creative zen nano plus (mp3) ipod. They are great. They have radio on them too. You can even transfer your cds on it really quick. (you don't even need to use the computer to do that) I bought one online at circuit city and they were really affordable. Mine even came with an arm strap and clear plastic case. I hope this helps! :) Have a great day.

i have a nano..it works great, but i would recommend getting one that has more song space on it, because mine cost around 250 bucks but only hold about 450 songs...but no problems with performance...my suggestion would be that if you want one, to go all out and buy the 30 gig or 60 gig new ones...
